This is a lucky sighting if you happen to spot a single fish or uncommonly more on the reef. They are fairly curious and easy to photograph. The juveniles are a dark brown-black colour with a crimson
margin around the edges of the fish. The adults are mostly solitary fish and seen under rocky overhangs of the steep outer reef slopes. They are mostly seen at 20 meters deep. They feed on jellyfish, algae and other gelatinous zooplankton.
